誰かに話さなかったら、きっと忘れ去られてしまうくらいささやかな場所の記憶も、実は都市を構成する大切な要素であるはずです。
同時に、その記憶に誰もたどり着くことができないという点は、まるで確実に存在しているけど見ることのできない未発見の小惑星のようでもあります。
会期中、作者の電話番号を公開し参加者に場所に関する記憶について尋ねました。およそ3o人の場所の記憶に耳を傾けながら、それぞれのエピソードから地図を想像し、数光年離れた先に漂っている未発見の小惑星のような、都市のイメージに思いを馳せる試みを行いました。

The memory of a place so small that it would surely be forgotten if no one told anyone about it, is in fact an important component of the city.
At the same time, the fact that no one can reach these memories is like an undiscovered asteroid that definitely exists but cannot be seen.
During the exhibition, the artist’s telephone number was made public and participants were asked about their memories of the place. Listening to the memories of around 3o people’s places, the artist tried to imagine a map from each episode and to think of an image of the city, like an undiscovered asteroid drifting a few light-years away.
