The sign works with arrows dotted around the town of Koganecho point out from “the place that matters to myself” to “the place that I want to go in the future.” It is a guidepost for someone who participated in the workshop. We all have a small and personal map in mind. There is a memory of places connected by one’s own experience, and in a sense it is free from geographical constraints.

The place where this work is installed plays a role as a place where memories about various people’s places intermingle, and it appears as a drifting ground. Which places do you write?
